We are seeking a passionate and qualified Geography Teacher to deliver IGCSE and A-Level Geography across Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful candidate will inspire students to understand the physical and human processes that shape our world, developing their geographical skills and environmental awareness.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Geography or related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent international teaching qualification
• Experience teaching IGCSE and/or A-Level Geography
• Strong subject knowledge across physical and human geography
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Proficiency with educational technology and GIS applications
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
Key Performance Indicators
• 85% of students meeting or exceeding target grades
• 90% pass rate in IGCSE/A-Level examinations
• Completion of all schemes of work and assessment schedules on time
• Positive feedback from lesson observations
• Active participation in professional development activities
Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for IGCSE and A-Level students
• Develop schemes of work aligned with Pearson Edexcel/Cambridge specifications
• Prepare students for external examinations with effective revision strategies
• Organise and lead fieldwork activities and geographical investigations
• Create stimulating learning environments using maps, GIS technology, and multimedia resources
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support progress
• Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation
• Participate in parent meetings and provide regular progress reports
• Support extra-curricular activities and school events
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and achievement
