We are seeking a creative BTEC Creative Media and IT Teacher to deliver BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 programmes for Years 10-13. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with creative vision to prepare students for careers in digital media and IT industries.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Digital Media, IT, or related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent international teaching qualification
• Experience teaching BTEC Creative Media, IT, or equivalent qualifications
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, and web technologies
• Portfolio demonstrating creative and technical skills
• Understanding of digital media industry pathways
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
Key Performance Indicators
• 85% of students achieving Pass or above
• 100% completion of internal verification on schedule
• Successful standards verification outcomes
• Development of student portfolios suitable for industry or higher education
• Regular updating of software skills and industry knowledge
Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging BTEC Creative Media and IT units across Levels 2 and 3
• Develop schemes of work aligned with Pearson BTEC specifications
• Guide students through internal assessment and portfolio development
• Teach industry-standard software including Adobe Creative Suite
• Prepare students for external assessments and synoptic components
• Maintain quality assurance standards as per Pearson requirements
• Develop students' skills in video production, graphic design, web development, and digital marketing
• Create opportunities for real-world projects and client briefs
• Track student progress and intervene to support achievement
• Maintain media equipment and IT resources
