Qualification Requirements for Teaching Roles
All teaching applicants must hold, as a minimum, a Bachelor's degree together with a full, valid teaching qualification from their home country, such as a PGCE or B.Ed. A TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certificate on its own does not meet this requirement, and candidates holding only these qualifications will not be considered.
Your degree should be directly relevant to the subject or role you are applying for. We give strong preference to candidates who can show a track record of involvement in extracurricular activities alongside their teaching. Experience teaching overseas is an advantage, though not essential.
