    What Is the Cambridge Pathway?

    The Cambridge Pathway is an international curriculum framework developed by Cambridge Assessment International Education, followed by thousands of schools in over 160 countries. It sets clear expectations for what children learn at each age, from Early Years through to A Level.

    Unlike systems focused on rote learning, the Cambridge curriculum emphasises understanding, application and critical thinking. Children learn to ask questions, solve problems and communicate effectively.

    At BCIS, we enrich this framework with Thai language and culture, international perspectives and a strong focus on character development.

    What curriculum does BCIS follow?

    BCIS follows the British EYFS framework in Early Years, then the Cambridge Pathway from Primary onward — Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE and A Level. This internationally recognised progression covers all core and foundation subjects from age 2 to 18.

    Do BCIS students take IGCSEs?

    Yes, students in Years 10–11 sit Cambridge IGCSEs — qualifications accepted by universities and schools worldwide.
