About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Primary Homeroom Teachers to join our primary team for Key Stages 1 and 2. Successful candidates will provide high-quality classroom teaching across the curriculum while nurturing students' academic, social, and emotional development.


Reports To: Head of School / Head of Secondary / Head of Primary (as appropriate)

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

•        Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or relevant subject area

•        Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent international teaching qualification

•        Experience teaching in primary schools, preferably with British curriculum

•        Strong classroom management and organisational skills

•        Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate pedagogy

•        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•        Commitment to safeguarding and child protection


Key Performance Indicators

•        All students making expected or better progress

•        Positive feedback from lesson observations

•        Strong parent satisfaction survey results

•        Active contribution to school community life

•        Completion of all assessment and reporting deadlines

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across all primary curriculum subjects

• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs

• Assess student progress using formative and summative approaches

• Maintain accurate records and report on student achievement

• Develop strong relationships with students and families

• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and resources

• Contribute to whole-school events, assemblies, and celebrations

• Participate in parent meetings and learning conferences

• Support extra-curricular activities and school community life
