Congratulations to Pleum, one of our talented young fencers, who won a bronze medal (second runner-up) in the Boys' Foil Individual, Under-12 category at the National Inter-School Fencing Championship, held from 19 to 21 June 2026 at the Nimibutr Sports Building, part of Bangkok's National Stadium complex.

    At the Championship

The championship was organised by the Sports Office of Thailand's Department of Physical Education together with the Fencing Association of Thailand, bringing together young fencers from schools across the country in age categories up to Under-18. Competing in the Under-12 Boys' Foil bracket, Pleum met opponents from a wide range of schools and advanced through the rounds with real focus, discipline and sportsmanship on the piste.

    Celebrating back at BCIS

Pleum brought his medal and certificate back to school, where staff and classmates were quick to share in the moment. Competing against fencers from schools right across Thailand is no small task for a Under-12 fencer, and the whole BCIS community is proud of the composure and effort he showed throughout the championship.
